We are providing an update regarding the recently disclosed F5 security vulnerability that impacted certain versions of a third-party product used within our hosting infrastructure. F5 disclosed this vulnerability on October 15, 2025, following a security incident at F5, prompting OpenText to implement security measures for our customers.
Current Status Your services are secure.
We patched all OpenText-managed environments, fully mitigated the identified risk. We have not observed any indicators of compromise (IOCs) or evidence of exploitation in our monitored environments.
Customer Action No action is required for OpenText-managed services. However, we strongly recommend that customers review the official F5 advisory and apply the patches to their own systems to ensure similar protections are in place as soon as possible.
Service Continuity Our services remain fully operational and secure. We continue to monitor our environments in collaboration with our Global Information Security & Privacy (GISP) organization for any anomalies and adhere to industry best practices.

Dear Valued OpenText Customer, We are aware of a recently disclosed issue affecting certain versions of a third-party F5 product used within parts of our hosting infrastructure. The issue pertains to a vendor component and does not involve OpenText-developed software.
Current Status Based on information available at the time of this notice, we have not observed indications of exploitation in our monitored environments.
We are coordinating with the vendor and have initiated our standard vulnerability management process. The standard process includes an assessment and staged deployment of applicable vendor updates under change control procedures.
Customer Action For OpenText-managed services, we are not requesting any customer action currently.
