Customer advisory
Support for weak TLS/SSL cipher suites will end on February 11, 2026, for OpenText™ Core Share customers using Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
Systems affected • OpenText™ Core Share AU • OpenText™ Core Share CA • OpenText™ Core Share EU • OpenText™ Core Share US
Details Effective February 11, 2026, OpenText will no longer support weak TLS/SSL cipher suites to establish a secure connection with its Core Share service.
Impact Once support for weak TLS/SSL cipher suites ends, customers not using strong cipher suites may face the following issues: • SSO login failures • User synchronization failures • Errors in Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) when relying on third-party trusts to connect to OpenText Core Share
Action required before February 11, 2026 To ensure continued access to the Core Share service, administrators should use actively supported operating systems and tools and prioritize strong cipher suites on their ADFS servers.
